RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS
This section is important and more protective legally.
Driver Requirements
- Must present valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must meet minimum age requirement.
- Must provide proof of auto insurance (if required in SC).
Vehicle Condition
Renter acknowledges the cart is received in good working condition.
Renter agrees to:
- Inspect vehicle at delivery
- Report existing damage
- Return cart in same condition
Responsibility for Damage
Renter is responsible for:
- Any damage during rental period
- Tire damage
- Windshield damage
- Lost keys
- Towing costs
Damage will be charged to the security deposit or payment method on file.
Indemnification
Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Joyride Golf Cart Rentals LLC from:
- Claims
- Injuries
- Property damage
- Legal fees
Arising from renter’s use of the golf cart.
Operating Restrictions (South Carolina Specific)
- Carts may only be operated on roads where permitted by local ordinance.
- Must comply with all South Carolina golf cart laws.
- Must operate only during daylight hours unless properly equipped and legally allowed.

Late Returns
Late returns may result in:
- Additional hourly charges
- Forfeiture of deposit
Default
Failure to comply may result in:
- Immediate termination of rental
- Retrieval of vehicle
- Additional fees

Photo & Marketing Release
Renter grants permission for Joyride to use photos or videos taken during rental for marketing purposes unless written notice is provided.
Cleaning Fee
Excessive sand, spills, or stains may incur cleaning fees.
Smoking Policy
No smoking or vaping in carts.
